The company will build a third LAHENDONG Rantau Dedap capacity of 2 x 110 MW in Muara Enim, South Sumatra.
This is done in an effort to continue to improve the supply capacity of the electrical energy on the island of Sumatra as well as increase the ratio of energy mix through the development of new and renewable energy plants.
Overseas IPP project Dedap MW LAHENDONG 2x110 is a project in the project list FTP 2 in accordance with the REGULATION No. 4/2010 about the assignment to the State electricity company PT (Persero) to perform the acceleration of construction of power plants that use renewable energy, coal, and Gas; Candy and MINERAL RESOURCES No. 15/2010 jo No. 01/2011 projects List on the acceleration of the construction of power plants that use renewable energy, coal and Gas as well as Associated Transmission.
In a press release Monday (12/11/2012), is estimated at 2x110 MW LAHENDONG Dedap Burials will be produced 1734,5 GWh per year.
Unit 1 was planned to be its commercial operation (Commercial Operation Date/COD) on January 2017 and full operation (Unit 1 & 2) on April 1, 2017 and by the presence of LAHENDONG Rantau Dedap is later expected to be increasingly strengthened the electrical systems in Sumatra.
Base rate and selling electric power agreed, and has got the approval of the Minister of energy and Mineral resources (DEMR), is a water 8.86 Cents US $/kWh.
This project has the right to obtain a letter of guarantee of the feasibility of Undertaking issued by the Minister of finance with the guarantee schemes in accordance with regulation of the Minister of Finance (FMD) No. 139 of 2011 date of August 22, 2011 about the procedures for the granting of the guarantee the appropriateness of the State electrical Company PT (Persero) for the construction of power plants using renewable energy, coal, and Gas is done through cooperation with Private Power Developers.
